The cleverness of this mural lies in its simple puzzlelike appearance, smooth flowing lines and contrasting vertical stripes. The whole playroom is painted in expensive 100% acrylic household paints with undulating lines in two shades of green, the top a darker matte “latex”, the bottom a paler gloss version for better cleaning and light reflection. The cow, made like a patchwork quilt, blends right into this design. The ceiling light was painted to look like a flower.
