AN ELEPHANT’S WORK IS NEVER DONE

A nursery has become an overgrown field and a baby elephant has taken on a Herculean job: holding up a rope with its trunk for a buddy orangutan (see Monkey See, Monkey Do mural). Despite the strain, it keeps on smiling. Its mother, too busy sniffing out a giraffe next to her (Giraffe Coming Out of a Wall), fails to notice that her calf has been put to work.

With the crib placed in front of this mural, the scene simply becomes comical when seen through bars. The large size of the elephants permits it.
